About
I am an architect and creative practitioner developing The Listening Room, a community-led project exploring how sound, space, art and collective making can help us reconnect with the natural world. I am interested in what happens when we slow down and really listen to a place—its sounds, stories, memories and changes—and then respond creatively.
I am currently developing small-scale workshops and immersive experiences where communities explore local environments through listening walks, field recording, drawing, storytelling and making with reused materials. These contributions will gradually grow into larger shared installations, bringing together artists, musicians, environmental practitioners and local communities.
Alongside the creative process, I am exploring how each event can be made with greater care for the environment, from materials and energy to documenting its impact. Through The Listening Room, I want to create experiences that make climate change feel personal, emotional.
Project Goals for the next 6-12 Months
I am an architect and creative practitioner developing The Listening Room, a project exploring our relationship with nature through sound, space, art and collective experience. I have always been drawn to the feeling of being somewhere surrounded by nature, sitting by a river, walking through a forest, hearing birds, wind through the trees or water moving nearby, and suddenly feeling a little quieter inside.
I believe everyone should have access to that feeling, and that to protect nature, we first need to feel connected to it. Through The Listening Room, I am creating immersive experiences and community workshops that invite people to slow down, listen closely to their surroundings and respond through field recordings, stories, drawing, making and music.
I want these experiences to feel like stepping into another world for a moment, a space to breathe, listen and remember that we are part of something living.
